About This Event
Job Point’s Stand-Up Comedy Night, presented by the Columbia Cosmopolitan Luncheon Club & Columbia Insurance returns to the Blue Note on Thursday, June 25, 2026 in downtown Columbia. Doors open at 6:00 pm for Happy Hour sponsored by Eng & Woods. The show begins at 7:00 pm.
This year will be something completely different, but still entirely entertaining!
Featuring The DougT Hypno Show!
Doug T. is a veteran stand-up comic who has worked with some of the best in the business, touring with acts like the cast of “Impractical Jokers.” Eventually, Doug decided he wanted to take his own act to the next level. He wanted to give audiences something entirely different than the run-of-the-mill comedy show. So he began to study the principles and practice of hypnotism. The result of these efforts is his own brand of Comedy Hypnotism that’s fun, fascinating, and gut-bustingly hilarious.
Doug’s show is unlike anything else, Fast and funny, Doug keeps his audience in awe. Non-stop comedy, dead-on impressions, and mind-bending hypnotism make this a performance unlike any other. You’ll be talking about this show for a long time to come. But don’t worry about being forced to do something you’ll regret in the morning. This raucously fun evening doesn’t come at the cost of your compromised dignity. Doug T. maintains a mantra of respect toward every audience volunteer who sets foot on his stage.
Tickets for the show are $100/person and include dinner, select beer from Bur Oak Brewing and wine, and two shows in one! A small number of reserved tables are also still available starting at $750. Dress code is casual.
Proceeds from this event benefit Job Point’s services for students, graduates and job seekers. Examples of benefits include helping provide for emergent and essential needs as they begin their job search and transition into employment. Your support can help provide interview outfits, gas and phone cards, tools and personal protective equipment, uniforms, specialty shoes or whatever a person needs to successfully take a position and move into financial stability.
Join us for a night of laughter and raising funds to help our neighbors throughout this community establish their own legacy of impact and success.
