About This Event
Junior Achievement Big Bend (JA Big Bend) is proud to present the 8th Annual JA Big Bend Shark Bowl Competition where students will compete for over $11,000 of cash, scholarships and prizes!
The Shark Bowl is a Big Bend-wide competition of high students from participating schools from Leon and Gadsden Counties, who will present their business ideas to members of the local business community. The top 6 students will present virtually, April 20th, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship, while semifinalists present interactive displays of their business ideas.
This event links leaders from the business community with aspiring young entrepreneurs who have participated in JA Big Bend’s Be Entrepreneurial program. The JA Be Entrepreneurial program reaches nearly 1,000 area high school students annually and helps students gain valuable insights and confidence that will serve them for the rest of their life, making them better workers and employees.
