JA Stock Market Challenge – Student Registration Now Open!
High school student teams of 3–4 will compete in a fast-paced, interactive simulation where they manage a virtual stock portfolio in real time. Using live data and market trends, students will make rapid decisions to buy and sell stocks, aiming to build the most valuable portfolio by the end of the session.
This exciting competition mimics the energy and unpredictability of the actual stock market, helping students develop skills in financial literacy, critical thinking, and teamwork. The top-performing teams will be awarded gift cards and recognized for their strategic decision-making.
Event Details:
- Dress Code: Business Smart Casual (collared shirt required)
- Pre-Event Preparation (Optional): Students will complete 3-5 brief JA Take Stock in Your Future lessons to build foundational knowledge of investing and stock market principles.
- Refreshments: Light snacks and water will be provided during the event.
Mentor a Team – Make an Impact!
Business professionals are invited to serve as team mentors, helping guide students through the competition. Mentors offer support, encouragement, and insight into financial decision-making, helping students apply what they’ve learned and compete with confidence.
