Junior Achievement Transportation & Trades Camp

About This Event

Registration Opens February 23rd, 8:00AM

Date: Monday, July 20th to Friday July 24th.

Time: 9am-12pm (variations will be communicated on Day 1) - Friday Parents arrive at 11:00am for Luncheon

Where: CVTC Transportation Education Center (other locations will be communicated on Day 1)

Who: 9th - 12th grade students

What: Students in grades 9th through 12th grade will learn about the various aspects of career opportunities in the transportation and trade fields. Students will gain skills from Junior Achievement lessons on job shadowing, how to buy a car, followed by tours of CVTC program facilities. They will then travel to Markquart Motors to tour the dealership and career opportunities. On the final day, students will have an opportunity to be hands-on at CVTC, followed by a parent luncheon to debrief what they learned during the week.
