Take part in The King's Daughters' raffle to celebrate 130 years!!
In 1897, with $602.06 raised "by voluntary contributions," NCUKD hired Miss Edith Nason, RN. During her first year, Miss Nason made 1,771 visits. The next year, NCUKD bought her a bicycle so she could cover even more ground!
For our 130th Anniversary we are raffling a Huffy Carlisle Men’s Cruiser Bike!!
Ride in comfort and classic style with this gray‑and‑blue Huffy Carlisle Cruiser. Built with a durable steel frame, smooth‑rolling 26" wheels, and a padded saddle, it’s designed for easy, enjoyable cruising. The vintage‑inspired look turns heads, while the convenient front basket keeps your essentials within reach on every ride.
Raffle Details:
Raffle tickets are $30 each. The winner will be announced at noon on June 26, 2026 on The King’s Daughters for CHKD Facebook page. The winner will also be contacted directly by The KD Office.
The bike must be picked up at CHKD, 601 Children’s Lane, Norfolk, VA 23507. It will be available in its original box or fully assembled prior to pickup - your choice.
