About This Event
Keep Marching is the 2026 fall benefit concert for the Detroit Women's Chorus. Join the Detroit Women’s Chorus for Keep Marching, an evening of music about resilience, justice, and the voices that carry us forward. The program moves from Indigenous and African American spiritual traditions through songs of protest and hope to a set of empowering anthems. It features arrangements by William Dawson and Rollo Dilworth, works by contemporary composers B.E. Boykin and Andrea Ramsey, and Motown soul from Marvin Gaye. The concert closes with the title song from Shaina Taub’s suffrage musical Suffs. Come be inspired, and leave ready to keep marching
The concert is followed by an afterglow reception with prizes at the historic Christ Church in downtown Detroit. New this year: more chances to win! Every adult concert ticket comes with one free raffle ticket, and you can boost your odds by picking up extra sheets of 5 for just $10. Drop them into the baskets for the prizes you want most. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Come early and browse the prize baskets, pick your favorites, and stock up on raffle tickets before the music begins. Be sure to purchase and drop your tickets in your favorite baskets by the end of intermission, when the raffle closes.
As a non-profit organization dedicated to offering a safe space for women to come together in song with no auditions or fees, we rely on YOU to keep our mission going. We hope to see you there! If you are unable to attend, we also gratefully accept one time and recurring donations at the ticket link above or on our web page.
