Our 2026 Literacy Lights the Way Luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at The Post Oak Hotel in Houston. This year’s luncheon will be chaired by Jennifer Jeffery, Susan Neuhaus, and Sushma Yalamanchili, and Underwriting Chairs Jamie Grissom and Katherine Kardesch. We are delighted to honor Becky and Mark Hobson for their commitment to literacy and their long-time support of Neuhaus Education Center. The 2026 Keynote Speaker will be former Commissioner of Education for the State of Tennessee (2019–2023), Penny Schwinn.
