Touchdowns for Diabetes

Make a Donation

As our senior season kicks off and our flag football team looks stronger than ever, Alyssa Kate and I are excited to introduce Touchdowns for Diabetes 2026!

I’m Olivia Pearl Simmons. Both of my sisters have chosen this as their charitable organization to raise funds for during their senior year.  Now it’s my turn! Diabetes has had a large impact on my life as I witnessed the disease firsthand as my father, Kendall, lives with Type 1 Diabetes.  Being a part of Auburn High School’s Flag Football team has given me a platform to raise awareness.  I would love your support!

I’m Alyssa Kate Jackson and Diabetes is more than a cause to me! My connection to this cause is deeply personal as I see the impact it has on my sister, Ellie Ann, who was diagnosed with T1D at 10 years old. Watching her strength and resilience inspires me to use my platform to help make a difference for others living with T1D. Your support would mean so much to me!

As the season approaches, we're excited for the opportunity to compete, make an impact on the field, and use every big play to raise awareness and support for those living with Type 1 Diabetes. All proceeds will go toward supporting individuals and families in our community through the Diabetes and Nutrition Center at East Alabama Health and the East Alabama Medical Center Foundation. Your donation is also tax deductible.

There are 2 ways to give.

  1. Pledge a donation amount for each touchdown and interception we get

OR

  1. Donate a one-time amount to our cause

Thank you for supporting us as we play with purpose and work together to make a difference. Every interception, every touchdown, and every donation helps support individuals and families affected by Type 1 Diabetes.
