Kids Nature Book Art Lesson

About This Event

Thursday, August 7 | 10:00 – 11:30 AM
Aldie Mansion

Join artist Jane Ramsey for a morning outside with a sketch book. Families are invited to capture the natural world with the help of her art instruction. All ages are welcome, and participants will leave this fun session with their very own nature book, colored pencils, and inspiration to continue.

Jane’s curiosity about the natural world took root in childhood. Since childhood she has collected scraps of nature in a journal, along with sketches and thoughts about the natural and open spaces around her. Jane’s enthusiasm for the natural environment, her warmth, and her thoughtful curiosity are sure to inspire kids of all ages. Parents will follow along on this engaging, interactive event.
