Overview: The Membership Agreement establishes a collaborative commitment for Coalition members and partners to work collectively toward improving access to play, outdoor recreation, and sports for youth in King County.
Your Impact & Our Gratitude: Your dedication to community leadership, fostering meaningful inclusion, and championing collective action for play equity is essential to creating impactful and sustainable change. We deeply value the time, resources, and expertise you bring to our shared mission of play equity. Together, we are building a future where every child and their family have equitable access to safe and culturally relevant opportunities to play and grow. Thank you for being a vital member of this collaborative!
Stipends: KCPEC frequently provides stipends to participants of our activities to ensure equitable compensation for providing valuable time, expertise, and input. These stipends provide financial support to organizations to increase their capacity to engage in shared work and attend meetings. As we center communities, especially communities of color, we ensure we are not extracting from community members without compensation.
