About This Event
Join students from Libertyville High School as we walk to raise funds for Youth & Family Counseling, a local nonprofit dedicated to making mental healthcare accessible for everyone in Lake County.
This event is proudly sponsored by the LHS Psychology Club, Art Club, DECA, and Senior Wellness Board, and takes place during Mental Health Awareness Month.
About Youth & Family Counseling
Youth & Family Counseling envisions a Lake County where every resident—regardless of income, insurance, language, or life circumstance—can access the care they need to cope, heal, and thrive. For more than 60 years, YFC has delivered affordable, high-quality behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families across the region.
As one of the few local nonprofits accepting both Medicaid and commercial insurance, YFC fills a critical gap for those facing the greatest barriers to care. The need is real: in 2025, 70% of YFC clients were under age 25, and 81% lived in low-income households. Your support helps keep those doors open.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward expanding access to mental healthcare in our community. Thank you for walking with us.
