Guided Bird Hike at Our Nawakwa
Join a Beaver Creek Reserve naturalist at Our Nawakwa to hike and enjoy the arrival of our spring migrants! Celebrate the start of Earth Week by getting outside and learning about local wildlife. Our Nawakwa’s beautiful glacial lake and pine forests are host to songbirds, raptors, ducks… and maybe a loon if we’re lucky! All birdwatching skill levels are welcome, and limited numbers of binoculars and field guides will be available to borrow.
Participants of Beaver Creek programs during the month of April will be entered into a raffle to win a prize donated by a local business.
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to sign Our Nawakwa’s participant waiver.
Ages: 12+ (Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)
Cost: BCR Members $8 and Non-members $12
Location: Our Nawakwa
