Forty years ago, our visionaries believed LA County deserved a world-class public arts high school: The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). They were right. Now, it’s our turn. 

The LACHSA Foundation invites you to join the culminating 40th Anniversary celebration at LACHSApalooza, a benefit arts and music festival, with world renowned LACHSA alumni artistry at this iconic Los Angeles venue, the Greek Theatre. Together, with 5,900 guests, we’ll create an unforgettable experience that fuels the future of LACHSA for the next 40 years. Who’s in?

What is happening at LACHSApalooza?

At LACHSApalooza, our doors will open at 5pm at the Greek Theatre where you will be immersed in the arts while enjoying food, beverages, and all of the fun at this benefit arts and music festival.

Starting at 6:30pm, the fun will begin on stage where you and your guests will be inspired by LACHSA’s world renowned alumni, such as the Grammy-winning band Ozomatli, seven-time Grammy nominee Gerald Clayton, Grammy-nominated R&B star Jon B., Grammy-nominated jazz singer Gretchen Parlato, and special guests to be announced.

Throughout the evening, a celebration of the arts will also take place, featuring testimony to LACHSA’s impact provided by award winning actress, Isa Briones and additional guest hosts to be announced. Interactive art will also be part of the festival, featuring fine art from award-winning muralist and artist, Robert Vargas.
