Glass Lantern Workshop, June 1 2026

Friends of Cville is excited to partner with local artists from Charlottesville's Raging Buffalo Glass Studio combined to create a unique lantern structure to be used in the community lantern parade to commerate the 50th anniversary of the Downtown Mall on July 3rd, 2026.

In this workshop, attendees will work together to come up with a communal design for the parade and blow a glass vessel. All materials will be provided. 

First Session: Monday, June 1, 5PM to 7PM

Registration: age 13+, under 18 should come with an adult (ticket sold seperately)
