L.A. Works is the only nonprofit in Los Angeles that mobilizes volunteers across a wide range of interconnected issues. From food insecurity to education to climate and more, our carefully organized service experiences directly impact vulnerable communities while strengthening the fabric of civil society.

Painting Session - Iconic LA Landscape
Beth Albrecht brings a spark of creativity and energy to L.A. Works. She has led volunteers in painting vibrant murals across Los Angeles and has experience organizing engaging paint-and-sip events that foster community and creativity. Beth holds a Master of Public Administration from USC, a Studio Art degree from UCSB, and a Fashion Design degree from Parsons—blending art, strategy, and style to craft memorable experiences that inspire and engage.
