"This event is especially meaningful to me because it centers around a topic I am deeply passionate about: Growth.
Growth, not only for our businesses, but for more importantly for ourselves…As men and women, parents, husbands and wives and most importantly as disciples of Jesus Christ.
And the question is not just are you or how do you grow, but who and what are you becoming as you grow?
During our short time together. I will share a practical 4 Point-Framework I use to help guide my personal, professional, spiritual and our team’s business growth. This is necessary for me since the reality of healthy growth is always intentional, must be measured, encompasses trial and impacts the most important lives around us: our families.
The morning includes breakfast, networking, fellowship, and conversation with leaders from across our community who are committed to building businesses, teams, and cultures that positively impact others."

Scott is the Chairman and CEO of National Nail, a 100% employee-owned brand company equally driven by innovation and its unique culture. Scott has led a transformation of National Nail over the course of his 28-year tenure, taking the local West MI company from a regional building material distributor to a global brand company of patented products. The CAMO, STINGER, and PRO-FIT brands are the leading and asked-for brands in the fastening industry.
Prior to joining National Nail, Scott had been a Consulting Partner with Arthur Andersen where his client base included Ford Motor Company, Herman Miller, Bissell, Meijer, the Behler-Young company, among many others.
Scott is a frequent speaker on the topics of leadership and team development, organizational development, and servant leadership. He has served on the boards of public, private and non-profit organizations. He is married with four children and five grandchildren. He is also a cancer survivor.
