Samuel Lawrence Foundation Presents: Summer Luncheon for Learning Equality

Registration has ended

About This Event

The Samuel Lawrence Foundation along with Bart Ziegler, Learning Equality Advisory Board Member, cordially invite you to a summer luncheon for Learning Equality.

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of music, mingling, and delicious food and drinks at the beautiful home of Bart Ziegler, Samuel Lawrence Foundation President and Co-founder. This gathering is a perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy the last days of summer, learn about and support the impactful work of Learning Equality.

Learning Equality is a San Diego born and based education technology nonprofit organization dedicated to building equity in education for underserved children and youth globally, who do not have access to the Internet.

The Samuel Lawrence Foundation believes that inclusive and equitable education is crucial to creating a more peaceful, equal, and just society. However, per UNESCO, a staggering 244 million children and youth remain out of school, 771 million adults are illiterate, and 2.6 billion people globally do not have access to the Internet. These massive disparities are a violation of the basic human right to education, and we need to do better. That is why we support Learning Equality: They've been building edtech solutions and creating learning opportunities that meet the needs of underserved, underrepresented, and disconnected communities for over 10 years. And with a growing global reliance on Al and education technology, their work is more critical than ever before.

Please RSVP by 08/22.

This event is by invitation only. Should you have any questions, please reach out to us at admin@samuellawrencefoundation.org.

We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate the incredible work of Learning Equality!
