Ages: 5-10, Space is limited. Come join us! 

Rhyming Time: Reading Readiness Program

Rhyming Time: Reading Readiness program will focus on the 5 Reading parts and the WH Questions for reading comprehension utilizing the Natalie Hale, UFLI, and one of Mary Jamerson unique Cultivating Learning and Living tutoring systems. 

5 Areas of Reading

  • Phonemic Awareness
  • Phonics
  • Sight Words (Vocabulary)
  • Fluency

Summer camp participants will expand their understanding of reading by exploring familiar nursery rhymes which will keep them engaged and excited about their learning adventure.  LEAP will address routines and the importance of being independent with daily day to day responsibilities.  Summer Camp participants will also participate in fun and social activities that include gross play, sport skills, social skills, music and dance presentations. 

Date:  July 11-13 (Thursday through Saturday)

Time:  9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Location: University of Central Florida

Registration deadline is Monday, July 8th at noon.
