About This Event

Secure Your Legacy: Wills, Estate Planning, and Charitable Giving Hosted by 4 Paws for Ability

Date: August 9, 2024
Time: 11:30am to 1pm
Location: 4 Paws for Ability 207 Dayton Ave Xenia, OH 45385
Cost: Free!

In celebration of National Make a Will Month, 4 Paws for Ability invites you to join us for an informative seminar on the importance of wills, estate planning, and charitable giving.

Your last will and testament is the cornerstone of your estate plan. Without it, critical decisions about your assets, heirlooms, guardianship of your children, and the appointment of an executor will be determined by existing laws or decided in court. Whether you are drafting your first will or revisiting an existing one due to life changes – such as the birth of a child, marriage, divorce, or the acquisition of significant assets – it’s essential to ensure your wishes are clearly documented.

This seminar will be led by an experienced attorney, Sean McCauley, who specializes in estate planning and charitable giving. You will gain valuable insights into:

  • The Importance of Having a Will: Understand why a will is a vital document and the potential consequences of not having one.
  • Updating Your Estate Plan: Learn when and why you should update your will and other estate planning documents.
  • Tax-Saving Strategies: Explore various estate planning options that can help reduce your tax liabilities.
  • Charitable Giving and Bequests: Discover how you can support causes you care about through charitable bequests.
  • Power of Attorney and Other Legal Tools: Gain knowledge about power of attorney, living wills, and other essential documents.

Why Attend?

  • Expert Guidance: Receive professional advice from a leading attorney in estate planning.
  • Interactive Q&A Session: Have your questions answered by a legal expert.
  • Charitable Giving Insights: Learn how to align your philanthropic goals with your estate plan.
  • Networking Opportunity: Connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for giving back.

Lunch will be provided. Seating is limited, so please RSVP by August 1st to secure your spot.
