About This Event

On the occasion of her new exhibition, LOVER LOVE, Shu Lea Cheang is joined for an in-depth artist talk by writer and scholar McKenzie Wark, and Leslie-Lohman’s Head Curator / Director of Exhibitions and Collections Stamatina Gregory.

Together, they discuss Cheang's creative practice and conceptual approach to the large-scale, interactive video installation, opening up a space to think collectively about the contemporary stakes of trans life, and the increasing threats to the health, safety, and autonomy of trans and gender non-conforming individuals.
