About this Event
The Stephanie A. Wynn Foundation proudly presents the 3rd Annual Let's Talk IBD Health and Wellness Symposium, a powerful OPPORTUNITY to raise awareness about Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) within the African American community. Recognizing the disproportionate impact of this chronic condition on underserved African Americans, our mission is to collaborate with healthcare organizations and community partners to uplift and support those living with IBD, enhancing their quality of life.
This year’s theme, OPPORTUNITY, highlights our commitment to creating pathways for equitable healthcare and resources. By shedding light on this often-overlooked issue, the symposium aims to develop more effective ways to empower individuals with IBD on their healthcare journey. Through panel discussions and interactive sessions, the event will unite patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and advocates. Together, we will share knowledge, build connections, and work collectively towards the common goal of improving the lives of those affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
