Join the Lexington History Museum for a panel discussion celebrating 65 years of the United States Peace Corps. Moderated by Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Rona Roberts, the panel will feature Will Glasscock, Sarah Marshall, Oghale Oddo, and Lynda Mae Taylor sharing their experiences and reflecting on service abroad.
Note: September 22 is the 65th anniversary of the passage of the Peace Corps Act, when Congress officially made the Peace Corps a permanent federal entity.
Museum doors will open at 6:30 for viewing of the special 65 Years of Peace Corps traveling exhibit and artifacts collected and cherished by Returned Lexington Volunteers.
The panel will begin at 7:00.
