About This Event

Transitioning out of pediatric care can be overwhelming. This workshop targets lupus warriors moving from pediatric to adult care. 

This program is FREE for lupus warriors transitioning out of pediatric care and their families. Attendance includes parking, program, lunch, & admission to the Milwaukee Public Museum. 

Sessions: Program sessions are currently being developed cooperatively by LFA, WI Chapter with rheumatologists and medical professionals from Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, UW-Health, & UW-Health Pediatrics, as well as lupus warriors who have gone through this transition. Stay tuned for more details!!

Post Workshop: Following the program and lunch, attendees can explore the Milwaukee Public Museum.

Location: Milwaukee Public Museum in the School Lunchroom

Parking: MacArthur Square Parking Garage, 841 N James Lovell St., Milwaukee (parking cost will be covered if you bring in your issued parking garage ticket)

Entrance: Go to parking garage museum entrance, then look for Rheum to Grow signage, School Lunchroom on your left very close to entrance.
