About Life Houses

Life Houses is thrilled to mark its 15th anniversary! Throughout the years, Life Houses has had the privilege of impacting the lives of more than 200 young adults within our Helena community. Life Houses was founded by Jay and Anita Sherley and their calling to provide support to young adults, ensuring they feel acknowledged, heard, comprehended, and nurtured. Initially housing young adults in their home, they eventually realized the need was larger than their home. A group of like-minded caring people came together and Life Houses was officially born.

Our residents receive support not only from their peers but also from dedicated mentors and coaches. Through regular one-on-one sessions, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, exploring their purposes, tackling personal challenges, setting objectives, and charting their paths for the future. Additionally, scheduled house meetings cultivate camaraderie among residents and facilitate group learning opportunities.

During their tenure at Life Houses, young adults acquire essential life skills encompassing personal responsibility, goal setting, interpersonal dynamics, financial management, employment readiness, household upkeep, and community engagement. Ultimately, Life Houses is based on the belief that when young adults recognize their intrinsic value and sense of purpose, they are empowered to cultivate hope for the future and foster positive relationships with both their peers and their community at large.

Auctions

We are excited to again have both SILENT and LIVE auctions at this year's event.

Donations are tax-deductible and donors will be recognized in a variety of manners.

Volunteer

"Together we can do so much" (Helen Keller). It is true for such an event as this. Come join us in creating a memorable event and help change lives (and maybe yourself as well).
