Steinway B
Our two lobby pianos are both Steinway B grand pianos. They are 6'11" long, perfect for performances. The model B is Steinway's best-selling piano due to its great sound and versatility. Our Lobby pianos are used in student recitals and our Live Music Series, and will be stars of the show at Music in May. The black Steinway B was built in 1978 and will need a thorough servicing and voicing as well and new hammers/shanks. The brown Steinway B was built in 1911, the same year ANMS was founded! It has been recently rebuilt and needs a thorough servicing as well to bring it up to its full potential.
