Zen Half-Day: Knowledge and Wisdom

Sometimes knowledge is equated with wisdom; we have a mental picture of a wise old master who knows all the answers. Yet Zen practice teaches us to be okay with not knowing. What is it about “knowing” that’s so compelling and how do we cultivate wisdom? This half-day of practice offers an opportunity to sit with these types of questions and discern our own meaning.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens and you may not be able to attend the event. If you are able to let us know more than two weeks before the event starts, we are happy to provide a full refund to you minus a $10 admin fee. If you cancel less than two weeks before the event, we can offer a 50% refund (no less than $10 withheld). If you have to cancel two days before the event, we appreciate you letting us know but are unable to provide a refund. If you have to cancel, you have the option to donate your partial or entire registration fee to the BDC scholarship fund. This would be much appreciated and help us make sure no one is turned away from BDC retreat’s due to lack of funds.
