About this Event

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us at the Restoring LUV Breakfast on September 18, 2025, at the Haven Entertainment Center. It was an uplifting and memorable morning filled with powerful moments that beautifully reflected the heart of our mission at the Love, Unity & Values (LUV) Institute.

We were honored to hear from LUV Alum, Jason Parks, whose powerful testimony moved the room and reminded us what transformation looks like in real time. His story of perseverance and growth captured the essence of why we do this work.

The breakfast was catered by Chef Jamie Gilmore, and we extend our deepest gratitude to our generous sponsors: Diamond Equity, Arnett Law LLC, Janelle Prueter & Chuck Cunningham, HP, and My Home Nurses. Because of your support—and the commitment of everyone who attended—120 guests helped us raise over $35,000 to further our mission!

The morning included heartfelt remarks from our founder and executive director Cosette Nazon-Wilburn, chairman Andrew Wells, program manager Dr. Yvette Curington, and our breakfast honorary co-chairs Felix Leshey and Chef Jamie Gilmore. Each shared the impact of our work and the importance of collective commitment to empowering youth and restoring hope across our community.

Thank you to every attendee, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who made this event a success. Your presence and generosity help ensure that young people continue to receive the opportunities, mentoring, and restorative support they deserve.

Together, we are restoring hope, restoring community, and Restoring LUV.
