Presented by Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust

Wildflower Walk on the Greenway

About This Event

Explore the abundant wildflowers growing along the Concord River!

The Concord River Greenway is a pollinator’s corridor filled with many native plant species. Join us for a walk on the Greenway and learn about the various wildflowers (native and invasive) growing along the trail and river banks.

We’ll be walking from the Lawrence Street entrance to the pedestrian bridge and back (or you can continue along the Greenway to Jollene Dubner Park). The walk is about a mile round-trip and we will keep the pace leisurely with frequent stops to observe the flora and fauna. You will also learn how to use the iNaturalist and Seek apps for identifying plants and animals.

Please dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes. We will walk in light rain, but if there is heavy rain, thunderstorms, or extreme heat, we’ll postpone the event.

There is only a small parking lot at the trail entrance. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
