About This Event
Junior Paleontology Club introduces K-2nd grade students to the wonders of prehistoric life through fun, age-appropriate activities. Young explorers will dig into real Florida fossil-rich micro-gravel to search for ancient shark teeth and other exciting finds from long ago. Each child will get to keep their discoveries, which may include small fossils from creatures like the megalodon and animals from the Ice Age. With simple tools, hands-on learning, and plenty of curiosity, students will begin to build a connection to natural history in a way that is fun, safe, and memorable.
