Live @ the Factory: The Moon Shells on Saturday, September 5

About This Event

Ball & Socket Arts can't wait to host The Moonshells on Saturday, September 5th for tunes in the open air.

Bring your lawn chairs and a picnic dinner from one of our local restaurants for an evening of musical delights.

Grab your spot and start your picnic at 5:30.

This event is produced by Ball & Socket Arts.

Event takes place on-site at Ball & Socket Arts in the plaza in front of Building 5. The Workshop Gallery will also be open during the show so you can take in our current exhibition.

Extended parking available at the municipal lots along Railroad Avenue or at our neighbors over at Rebellion Group (535 W. Main Street). Or if you're local, please consider walking or bicycling to the site!

Advance (free) registration encouraged to receive communications about any changes or rescheduling due to weather events.

About The Band:

The Moon Shells draw from the music of Appalachia, Louisiana, West Africa, and elsewhere to explore what it can do and try to make something new. They've played small stages and festivals all over New England and have made four albums of original songs, two of which were considered among the Hartford Courant's best regional albums of the year. They've also been nominated for Americana Band of the Year at the New England Music Awards. As inspired by nature as by culture, they make music that moves hearts and feet, about contending with the past, accepting the present, and running headlong into adapting to the future.
