About This Event
This scavenger-hunt-meets-road-trip tests your knowledge of local history and geography. Teams will receive a set of clues directing them to six different historic sites spread throughout the Mahoning Valley. One “lifeline” call will be available to each team during the race. This event takes place on Friday, August 7, beginning at 5 pm.
Race begins and ends at TYLER HISTORY CENTER (325 W. Federal St). Participants use their clues to discover and document their answers with a smartphone or digital camera, & return to Tyler History Center. The first team to correctly identify all of the sites with event staff wins the coveted Amazing History Race12 trophy and a special prize. A casual pizza party is planned for after the race for all participants.
