Presented by Abdominal Cancers Alliance

Living Proof

About This Event

An inspiring evening of performance and storytelling that showcases a shared truth: we who face these abdominal cancers can not only live longer, we can thrive.

Through survivor-led performances, personal stories, and demonstrations of how they s are thriving!, this event will highlight the strength, resilience, and vibrant lives of those who have faced these rare and advanced cancers. It is designed as an engaging, uplifting night out to bring attention to telling that story - raising awareness by amplifying that truth and disrupting misconceptions to save lives.

Too many patients are told “no one survives that” when diagnosed with peritoneal cancers. They face similar negativity in the face of rigorous treatment that “doesn’t make a difference” for these advanced, complex cancers. These misconceptions delay proper treatment and cost lives. We MUST change the narrative!

This event will leverage extraordinary stories and talents to demonstrate to the world that diagnosis is not an end, it is just another beginning!
