25 Years of Manna Celebration

About This Event

To celebrate 25 years of work and love poured into the Dominican Republic, we want to gather and enjoy this milestone together. You are invited to join us in Cookeville, TN where we will share about what God has done and continues to do through Manna Global Missions. Keep reading for more details about the weekend.

Lodging:

We want to make this event as affordable as possible! If you are interested in free lodging, several local families have graciously agreed to open up their homes to our Manna family. If you would like for us to arrange free lodgin for you at one of these homes, please choose this in the dropdown menu as you register.

If you prefer a hotel, we have a block of rooms at a discounted rate at Candlewood Suites. Click on the link below to reserve your room.

Manna Hotel Block Reservation

Additionally, guests are welcome to acquire their own lodging. There are several nice hotels and AirBNB options in the area.

Transportation:

We want to ensure people are able to easily get to Cookeville from the airport. If you are needing transportation from the Nashville airport, please let us know as you register.

Families:

We would love for your family to be a part of this celebration! We are discussing having some childcare options available for some of the sessions. However, there will likely be sessions that aren't as much fun or engaging for younger audiences. Ultimately the decision is yours and we will do our best to accommodate children that come for the weekend. As you register, please "purchase" a ticket for each family member that will be attending to help us have a head count for food.

Schedule:

Our hope is to share as much time together as possible while also celebrating the work that has been done and looking forward to the future. Below is an idea of what each day will hold.

  • Friday Evening - Welcome, Dinner, Introduction to the Weekend, 'A Time to Connect'
  • Saturday Morning - Breakfast, Worship Time, 'A Time to Reflect' on the DR work and what is to come
  • Saturday Afternoon - Lunch, 'A Time to Dream' as we hear from current DR missionaries, Free time with an opportunity to tour El Puente (Manna Cookeville's Hispanic Community Center)
  • Saturday Evening - Panel Discussion, 'A Time to Celebrate' and honor many who have served, Dinner, Closing
  • Sunday Morning - Breakfast, Prayer Time, Worship and Communion
