The Markham Middle School Hands4Hope Club has chosen to support the staff at El Dorado County German Shepherd Rescue by providing financial support for medical care, rehabilitative training, and daily food. 

The mission of El Dorado County German Shepherd Rescue (EDCGSR) is to save lives and create brighter futures for unwanted, abused, or neglected German Shepherds (or mixes) that local shelters cannot place due to overcapacity. ​With the support of generous donors, they can provide the care, comfort, and second chances they deserve.

Funded solely by donations, this rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our goal is to raise $1,500. ​​On-campus fundraising is from March 16 to 27. Online fundraising will end on April 5.  We are also promoting adoptions, sharing information to help families foster a dog, and hoping to find more volunteers for EDCGSR.
