About This Event

In 2023, Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry launched a new tradition in Daytona—the Mayor's Gala, an annual night of philanthropy to end homelessness.

On February 8, 2025, we will gather as a community and build upon our tradition to celebrate and honor our First Step Shelter supporters, community leaders, corporate & faith-based partnerships, and municipal and county partners. Most importantly, we will celebrate those who took the first step to housing and self-sufficiency.

The 3rd Annual Mayor's Gala is a black tie optional, festive celebration, with interactive entertainment all inspired by Fire and Ice. The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner, honoree awards, entertainment, and a program highlighting the work of the First Step Shelter.

Be a Sponsor, Host a Table, or Purchase a ticket!

Sponsorships range from $10,000 to $2,500 and provide us with the opportunity to highlight those individuals and businesses that go above and beyond in helping us meet the financial demands of our mission. Table Hosts are also crucial to meeting our fundraising goal. Table Hosts purchase a table for 8 and invite seven of their friends or family to join them at the Gala!  The cost is $1000.

Individual tickets are also available for $125 per person and we’d love to see you at our event!

This year, parking will be available across the street in the county parking garage with a shuttle service available!
