About This Event
MEarth Summer Camps offer an immersive hands-on experience that blends nature, food, and creativity. In our Cooking and Eco-Explorer camps, campers spend their days unplugged and outdoors, exploring and connecting with the natural world, and discovering how their food is grown through playful, collaborative activities. Each camp encourages curiosity, teamwork, and confidence in the outdoors and in the kitchen, while inspiring a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Camps meet Monday-Friday from 9am - 3pm.
Cooking Camp: Join us for MEarth's hands-on cooking summer camp! Campers will learn how to chop, cook, and bake using fresh produce harvested from our organic garden. The older campers will be joined by a local professional chef to cook a delicious meal, sharing culinary skills and inspiration. In between cooking sessions, campers will enjoy games, garden exploration, and engaging activities for a fun-filled, memorable week.
Eco Explorer Camp: Campers will dive into nature at MEarth, exploring local plants and animals through hands-on adventures and special educational guests. Highlights include: a scenic hike at Palo Corona Regional Park and preparing fresh, tasty snacks using garden-grown produce harvested by the campers. Everyday is packed with discovery and fun!
SCHOLARSHIPS:
MEarth can offer partial scholarships for summer camp. To be eligible, you, your family, or your children must meet one of the following critera. Eligible/enrolled in Medi-Cal health care, enrolled in SNAP benefits, annual income is equal to or below the poverty line as indicated by the U.S. Federal Government. If you meet any of these requirements, please email the relevant documentation to Mauricio@mearthcarmel.org. He will follow up with a promo code to complete your registration.

15+ days advance notice—100% refund minus $25 processing fee
8-14 days advance notice—50% refund minus $25 processing fee
0-7 days advance notice—No refund
