Caregiver Support Group

Registration ends Thursday, 09/03/2026 1:59pm MDT

About This Program

Caregiver Support Group is a 6-week group designed for individuals who are supporting a loved one through cancer. Whether you are a partner, family member, or close friend, this space is for those navigating the often unseen and complex role of caregiving.

Caregiving can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. This group offers a space to slow down, step out of the caregiving role for a moment, and tend to your own needs. Together, participants explore the emotional weight of caregiving, share experiences, and connect with others who understand the balance of holding space for someone else while trying to care for themselves.

Through time spent with the horses, participants are invited into moments of grounding, presence, and reflection. Horses respond honestly and without expectation, offering a unique opportunity to reconnect with yourself, notice what you’re carrying, and experience support in a different way.

Over the course of six weeks, the group creates a steady rhythm of connection, reflection, and support. While each session stands on its own, participants are encouraged to attend all six to build trust within the group and deepen the experience over time.

This program is completely free for participants, made possible through the generosity of our donors and supporters.
