About This Event
Monthly Support Group for adults 18+ who identify as men
1.5-hour sessions | No horse experience required
In a world that often encourages men to tough it out, shut it down, or go it alone, this group offers something different: space to slow down, show up, and connect—with yourself, with others, and with the horses.
This group is for anyone who identifies as a man, inclusive of all backgrounds, life experiences, and sexual orientations. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, carrying stress, rethinking what masculinity means to you, or simply seeking a place where you can be real—you’re welcome here.
What You Can Expect
This is a monthly support group, with each 90-minute session offering something new—rooted in presence, curiosity, and connection.
Our work is experiential, not clinical. With guidance from a licensed therapist and support from the herd, you’ll be invited into a space that honors choice and personal pacing. Horses, as relational and intuitive beings, help us tune into what’s happening beneath the surface. You don’t have to talk a lot. You don’t have to “fix” anything. You just have to show up.
We’ll explore themes such as:
-
Masculinity and identity
-
Strength vs. vulnerability
-
Presence and emotional regulation
-
Connection, isolation, and belonging
-
Agency, choice, and relationship
Sessions will include a mix of hands-on activities with horses, time outdoors, group reflection, and opportunities to just be. You don’t need horse experience—just a willingness to show up, as you are.
As this is a new group, we’ll also be listening to you. Each session includes space for participants to help shape the direction and themes based on what feels most relevant in the moment.
