Mindful Coexistence: Meditation and Compassion with Animals & Nature

Registration ends Friday, 04/24/2026 1:00pm MST

About This Event

Join yoga and meditation teacher Diana Hulet for a monthly 90-minute practice series at Medicine Horse, offered on Sunday mornings from April through September. Guided by Diana’s work as a writer and animal photojournalist, this series invites participants into mindful presence, ethical connection, and compassionate awareness with one another and with the animals and local ecosystems around us.

This program is designed for both new and returning participants, with each month exploring a different facet of mindfulness through practices such as guided and silent meditation, walking meditation, breathwork, gentle mindful movement, and reflective journaling. Participants will have opportunities to spend time with the animals who call Medicine Horse home, whether in the barn, the pasture, or simply side by side in stillness, while exploring themes of interspecies relationship and shared existence.

Sessions will conclude with community reflection, fostering presence, belonging, and a deeper connection to the natural world. All sessions are supported by Medicine Horse staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for every participant.
