Rooted: An Introduction to Forest Bathing Member-Exclusive Event

FREE for Members| Please Register

Saturday, October 3rd | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

As autumn settles over JSP's meadows and woodlands, we invite members to slow down and reconnect with nature, art, and with themselves. Rooted: An Introduction to Forest Bathing is an intimate, member-only experience blending the ancient Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) with the healing power of sound.

Guided gently through JSP's trails, sculptures, and native landscape, you'll learn the fundamentals of forest bathing. The process unveils a mindful, sensory practice of slowing down and immersing yourself fully in the natural world. No hiking pace, no destination: just presence, breath, and the quiet company of trees, art, and each other.

The experience will be paired with an immersive sound experience led by Theresa Adamchik, ATR-BC, LPAT-S, LPCC-S, an Integrative Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience who specializes in mindfulness, somatic methods, sound therapy, art therapy, and forest bathing in her Louisville practice. Theresa incorporates Reiki-infused sound healing, combining gentle energy balancing with therapeutic vibrations to promote deep relaxation and overall well-being, creating a truly immersive close to your morning among the sculptures.

This exclusive gathering is our way of thanking JSP members for the roots they've helped us grow, and an invitation to root yourselves in the quiet beauty of art and land in autumn. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early!
