When The Arc of Atlantic County first met Shondel, he was looking for an organization that would support his needs; a place that would work with him to acheive his goals. Today, Shondel lives in his own apartment in Atlantic County and works for an area business with colleagues that value his positive attitude and strong work ethic.

With a strong network of members and affiliated chapters, The Arc is able to improve systems of support and services, connect families, inspire communities, and influence public policy.
