About This Event
Our Holy Week Youth Mission program is designed to provide an opportunity for teens and young adults to come together and serve their parish, spreading love, kindness, and compassion in the spirit of Christ's Paschal Mystery. Through a variety of volunteer activities, prayer services, and street evangelization, missionaries will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need while nurturing their own spiritual growth.
Activities:
Missionary training, Street Evangelization, Faith formation, Liturgies, Confesion and prayer services.
Missions:
- SEDER - Last Supper
- Sunday March 29, 3:30 (English) (Separated Registration required)
- Door to door and street evangelization (Fri 3, Sat 4, 9:30 am - late evening)
- Overnight stays (ages 18 and older) Thu - Fri - Sat
- Adoration, Praise & Worship and Healing prayers (Thu 2 - Sun 5)
- Live Passion (Friday April 3)
- Pro-Life activity and prayer at abortion clinic (TBD)
- Closing Mass 1:pm and Celebration (Sun April 5)
Registration includes:
- Three meals per day. Snacks around the clock (Friday April 3 & Saturday April 4)
- Dinner will be offered on Thursday April 2 and breakfast on Sunday 5 as well
- Missionary t-shirt, bandana, mission field guide, and more!
- REQUIRED FORMS:
- Minors and Adults: PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES RC ACTIVITIES, INC

Adults/chaperones (ages 18 and older) (drivers included) would need to also complete the RC Activities volunteer certification: Please select RC Activities as the primary entity where you are volunteering for: Volunteer Certification Process

Drivers (ages 25 and older): For any transportation needed of minors that's included as part of our mission (to and from homes we will visit), drivers need to be over 25 years old and fill out the RC Activities Volunteer Driver Certification: Volunteer Driver Certification .If you already have it, please email your certificate to: administration@rcdetroit.org
- Transportation from home to the venue: Not Included
- Accommodations: Please bring your own sleeping bag and camping pad, toiletries, clothes, medicines etc.
