Ray and Denise Nixon

Ray and Denise Nixon have devoted decades to serving others through philanthropy, nonprofit leadership and faithful community involvement. Ray built a distinguished career in investment management with Smith Barney and Barrow Hanley and has served on numerous nonprofit, ministry and business boards. Denise has dedicated more than 30 years to causes addressing poverty, justice, education, healthcare, addiction and family well-being, including serving as board chair of Serve West Dallas.

Together, they have chaired fundraising events supporting ACT, Voice of Hope, The Salvation Army and other ministries. Their service has also extended around the world through mission work. Married for 49 years, Ray and Denise are blessed with four children and 15 grandchildren. Guided by their Christian faith and commitment to loving their neighbors, especially children, they generously use their time, talents and resources to strengthen communities and create opportunities for others.

Coach Wayne Bradford

Wayne Bradford has devoted more than four decades to serving and mentoring youth in West Dallas. A lifelong West Dallas resident, devoted Christian and family man, he began coaching youth football with the West Dallas Warriors, now the West Dallas Vikings, in 1981. He became president in 2002 and continues to serve today.

Through faith, patience and encouragement, Wayne has mentored thousands of young athletes, teaching discipline, confidence, teamwork and responsibility. His commitment to welcoming and developing every child has helped generations reach their potential, creating a lasting legacy that extends far beyond the football field
