My name is Maddy Psenka and I am a 27 year old living in Pewaukee, WI. I found my passion for running in 2024 as a mental release while training for my first half marathon. I decided to challenge myself in 2025 to train and complete a full marathon.

However, I wanted to find a charity to dedicate my training and race to that was close to my heart. When I came across The Army of Survivors, I immediately knew this was the charity I wanted to run for given its mission to provide support, advocacy, and resources to athletes that are survivors of sexual assault.

This mission is one that resonates given my personal experience seeing the impact that sexual assault can have on an individual and their loved ones. I am honored to run this race and dedicate my run to all survivors of sexual assault. My hope is that by continuing to raise awareness, change will come to avoid others from having to experience this in the future.
