Catholic Charities is proud to announce that Marisol Health Northern Colorado is open and operational. Patients are being seen now and babies are being delivered!
Meet the team!
Dr. Kevin Tool, Obstetrician and Gynecologist and longtime Fort Collins resident, is serving as Marisol Health Northern Colorado’s Medical Director. As such, he is providing clinical guidance and consultation to the medical team and receiving referrals of patients with higher risk medical conditions, including those who need surgical procedures. Dr. Tool is also reviewing and signing off on all ultrasounds and is sharing delivery responsibilities with Marisol Health nurse midwives.
Lisa Gesterling is a certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner. She specializes in obstetric and gynecological care, natural family planning and well-woman exams. Most recently a certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner at Bella Health and Wellness, Lisa has a Master of Science from Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies. Her previous clinical experience underscores her dedication to providing holistic, dignified care. She is a published journal author, a member of Catholic Medical Association and she lives in Ft. Collins.
Getting Involved
We know many of you are eager to volunteer at Marisol Health Northern Colorado and those opportunities are now available. Go to ccdenver.org and click on the "volunteer" button at the top of the page to learn more. In addition, e’d love for you to get to know our Catholic Charities team at Samaritan House Fort Collins and at Samaritan House Greeley on the Guadalupe Campus. They are always looking for committed and dedicated volunteers and we would be grateful if you would consider volunteering there too.

We wouldn't be where we are today without the hundreds of Northern Colorado supporters who had a vision and have turned it into an exciting new reality.
We are proud of all of our Catholic Charities ministries across Northern Colorado, including Marisol Health Northern Colorado, Samaritan House Fort Collins, Samaritan House Greeley on the Guadalupe Campus, the Guadalupe Community Center and the Guadalupe Apartments, multiple Catholic Charities Housing affordable housing complexes in the area including St. Valentine's in Loveland and Immaculata Plaza in Greeley and Marisol Family at St. Joseph's parish in Fort Collins. The progress we are making across Northern Colorado is tremendous and we look forward to continuously improving our services to better serve our community.
