The South Florida Opioid Alliance has partnered with leading healthcare groups, nonprofits, law enforcement, municipalities, and faith-based entities in the tri-county to facilitate education on Fentanyl and illicit substances, Naloxone administration, training & distribution and connect people to essential resources for mental, physical, financial well-being and health equity.
Last year the organization partnered with Fentanyl Fathers to bring fentanyl awareness education to 62 Miami-Dade high schools, impacting nearly 60,000 students. As a result, Miami has seen a significant drop in overdose deaths since 2023. The successful outreach strengthened our resolve to expand this mission into all 47 public middle schools beginning this November! Click the link to check out the tour's upcoming assembly schedule.
