About This Event
The Mission Formation Program is open to all who would like to grow in understanding and practicing global mission. The 2024 segment of the program will be entirely online. This is an opportunity to learn about biblical foundations, history and theology of mission, cultural dynamics, legacies of colonialism, and practical aspects of forming and nurturing mission teams. And there will be other modules as well!
The program consists of two parts separated by a year. New enrollees will experience the Part 1 modules. In the intervening year you will be in a mentor group, do some reading, and carry out a project. Returnees from the 2023 program will experience the Part 2 modules.

Note for new enrollees: Part 2 for you will be offered in person in tandem with Missio 2025 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras: April 28-29 for the Formation Program, and April 29-May 2 for Mission 2025. GEMN tries to meet outside the continental United States once every three years, and we are delighted that the Diocese of Honduras has invited us to meet in companionship with them.
