June is a special time to recognize and honor those impacted by aphasia — a language disorder that affects conversation, not intelligence. 

Aphasia affects the whole family, not just the person with aphasia. MnCAN is the only nonprofit in Minnesota dedicated to improving the lives of people living with aphasia. Our programs are thriving thanks to an incredible community of participants, care partners, and supporters like you. 

This month is about more than fundraising - it is about providing awareness. Aphasia can impact the ability to read a book, make a phone call, watch a movie or order food at a restaurant. In order to continue to provide awareness, we have set a BIG goal.
