Join us for an informative and engaging evening with Dave Bader from the Marine Mammal Care Center.
Dave has more than two decades of experience in informal science education and has played an integral role in developing and managing educational programs since beginning his career. He is the Chief Operations & Education Officer at the Marine Mammal Care Center. Dave has a bachelor’s degree in marine biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in biology with an emphasis on educational media design from the University of California at Irvine.

The lecture will appeal to anyone interested in seals, sea lions, marine life, or animal rescue and rehabilitation.

- How the Center rescues, rehabilitates, and releases marine mammals
- How each patient is a window into the changing health of our ocean
- The remarkable work of Marine Mammal Care Center and gain an inside look at the challenges facing Southern California's marine ecosystem.
