Incredible 6 in 2026

Join Moms Incredible for the Incredible 6: a 6-mile race from Sharky's on the Pier to the South Jetty and back!  This event is open to all human-powered vessels. Paddleboard, prone paddle, surf ski, kayaks, canoes, or even a rowing boat! Participants will challenge themselves to an open water gulf paddle touring much of Venice, Florida's coastline. After the event, enjoy light bites with us at Sharky's on the Pier. Participants finishing the race will receive a medal to show off to their family and friends!

Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026

Location:  A beach front open water paddle in the gulf. Starting and ending address is 1600 Harbor Dr South. Venice, FL 34285. Venice Pier - Sharky's on the Pier.

Time: 6:15a-6:45a check-in. 7:00-7:15 race line-up and briefing. 7:15--7:30a Race begins! Celebrate after the race with us at Sharky's on the Pier for light bites and awards.

Racecourse specifics: Paddlers will beach launch on the north side of the Venice Pier. You'll race down to the South Jetty, make a sweeping left turn, and then race back to the Venice Pier, and finish on the sand on the south side of the Venice Pier. The course will be divided in half to divide paddle traffic. Paddlers heading to the Jetty will stay between safety boats and the beach and out of the swim zone. Paddlers heading back to the pier will be west of (gulf-side) our safety boats. 

Entry Fee: $60 per participant, not per vessel. If you are in a tandem kayak, you will require 2 entries (one per person) even though there is one vessel.

Requirements & Notes:

1) Each participant is required to provide their own safety equipment! A lifejacket, sound producing device (whistle, air horn, etc.), and board leashes are MANDATORY for this event. Please see: https://myfwc.com/boating/regulations/paddleboard/ Participants arriving without lifejackets or sound producing devices will be unable to participate and no refunds will be given. Inflatable-type lifejackets must be worn, otherwise a lifejacket must be on the vessel and readily accessible at all times.

2) You must be able to complete 6 miles in 3 hours or less. This is for your safety and to ensure we complete the event in our allotted time. 

3) Participants need to supply their own water for the paddle portion of the event! This is an unsupported race: bring all water, electrolytes, nutrition, etc, that you may need to complete your 6-mile race.

4) Participants must be over 10 years old. All participants under 13 MUST BE WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN AT ALL TIMES while paddling on the water. Parent or Guardian must have their own entry in the race in addition to the minor. 

5) We will do our best to host the race, however Mother Nature is in control. If our race organizers and safety team deem the race unsafe to proceed due to weather or hazardous gulf conditions, we will cancel the race and all entry fees will be considered donations to Moms Incredible. This race will NOT be rescheduled. ALL ENTRIES ARE FINAL.  NO REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ONCE REGISTERED.

6) You will be required to wear a provided race bib during the event for safety and timing. 

Registering 8/1/2026 and later are NOT guaranteed a race shirt! Entries 7/31/2026 and earlier will get a race shirt.
